Terms of Use

END LAWSUIT ABUSE – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

Effective Date: September 13, 2026

These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EndLawsuitAbuse.com (the “Site”), which is operated by End Lawsuit Abuse, Inc. (“End Lawsuit Abuse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Purpose of the Site

End Lawsuit Abuse is an educational nonprofit organization. The Site provides information and educational materials concerning the civil justice system, litigation practices, litigation financing, legal advertising, mass-tort litigation, alleged litigation abuse or misconduct, and related economic, legal, and public-policy issues.

Content may include original research and commentary, documentary and educational materials, interviews, reports, analyses, summaries of public records and court proceedings, photographs, video and other media, and links to third-party sources.

End Lawsuit Abuse exercises independent editorial judgment in selecting, investigating, evaluating, describing, and presenting subjects. The Site is not intended to provide an exhaustive treatment of every issue or every viewpoint.

2. No Legal or Other Professional Advice

The Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or other professional advice.

Use of the Site or communication with End Lawsuit Abuse does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, confidential, advisory, agency, employment, partnership, joint-venture, or other professional or special relationship.

End Lawsuit Abuse does not represent individuals who contact it, including persons who provide tips, complaints, documents, or other information. Contacting End Lawsuit Abuse is not a substitute for consulting an attorney or reporting a matter to a court, law-enforcement agency, regulator, bar authority, governmental body, employer, insurer, or other appropriate person or organization.

End Lawsuit Abuse is not responsible for protecting a submitter’s legal rights or for monitoring statutes of limitation, filing requirements, reporting requirements, preservation obligations, administrative deadlines, or other legal obligations.

3. Editorial Content, Allegations, and Accuracy

End Lawsuit Abuse seeks to provide useful and responsible educational information. Its materials may draw upon court records, government records, regulatory materials, news reporting, academic or industry research, interviews, submissions from third parties, and other sources.

Sources that End Lawsuit Abuse considers reliable may nevertheless contain incomplete, disputed, inaccurate, or outdated information. End Lawsuit Abuse does not warrant that all Site content is complete, current, accurate, or error-free.

References to allegations, accusations, claims, lawsuits, investigations, or disputed conduct should not be understood as findings of liability, guilt, wrongdoing, or fact unless expressly identified as such. End Lawsuit Abuse may distinguish allegations from adjudicated facts and may provide relevant procedural or factual context when appropriate.

End Lawsuit Abuse retains independent editorial discretion concerning whether, when, where, and how matters are investigated, discussed, characterized, quoted, summarized, contextualized, updated, corrected, supplemented, or removed.

A person or organization that believes Site content contains a material factual error may submit a good-faith correction request to info@endlawsuitabuse.com. End Lawsuit Abuse may review such requests but does not guarantee a response, correction, removal, or other action.

4. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, systems, accounts, or data;
  • introduce malware, malicious code, or other material intended to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Site;
  • use automated means to access or extract Site content in a manner that materially interferes with the Site’s operation or violates applicable law;
  • impersonate another person or organization or materially misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • knowingly submit materially false, fabricated, deceptive, or misleading information;
  • use the Site to threaten, harass, defame, unlawfully invade the privacy of, or otherwise violate the legal rights of another person; or
  • commercially exploit End Lawsuit Abuse’s original content except as authorized by End Lawsuit Abuse or applicable law.

End Lawsuit Abuse may restrict or block access to the Site when it reasonably believes doing so is appropriate to protect End Lawsuit Abuse, the Site, its users, its systems, or third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, original content created by End Lawsuit Abuse—including text, graphics, logos, design elements, reports, videos, and other materials—is owned by or licensed to End Lawsuit Abuse and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Subject to these Terms, End Lawsuit Abuse grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use End Lawsuit Abuse’s Site content for personal, educational, and other lawful non-commercial purposes.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights available under fair use, the First Amendment, or other applicable law.

6. Tips, Documents, Complaints, and Other Submissions

A. Submissions Generally

End Lawsuit Abuse may receive tips, complaints, documents, photographs, video, audio, screenshots, emails, correspondence, records, accounts of events, comments, ideas, leads, and other information or materials by email or through other communications (collectively, “Submissions”).

End Lawsuit Abuse is under no obligation to accept, review, investigate, verify, respond to, preserve, return, publish, or otherwise use any Submission. End Lawsuit Abuse may decline to consider or use a Submission for any reason and is not required to explain its decision.

Receipt, review, retention, investigation, or other consideration of a Submission does not mean that End Lawsuit Abuse believes, endorses, verifies, or accepts the Submission or any allegation contained in it as true.

B. Submitter Representations

By providing a Submission, you represent, to the best of your knowledge, that:

  1. factual information you provide is truthful and accurate;
  2. you have not knowingly fabricated, materially altered, or misrepresented documents, evidence, or other information;
  3. you have the right or lawful authority to provide the Submission to End Lawsuit Abuse and to grant the rights granted under these Terms; and
  4. your Submission does not knowingly violate applicable law, a court order, or the legal rights of another person.

You should not provide material that you know was obtained through hacking, theft, unlawful interception, violation of a court order, or other unlawful means.

If End Lawsuit Abuse receives material that appears to have been improperly or unlawfully obtained, End Lawsuit Abuse may stop reviewing it, preserve it when appropriate, consult legal counsel, decline to use it, or refer the matter to an appropriate authority. End Lawsuit Abuse’s receipt of material does not obligate End Lawsuit Abuse to determine whether the material was lawfully obtained.

C. Confidentiality Requests

Do not assume that a communication or Submission to End Lawsuit Abuse is confidential.

Unless End Lawsuit Abuse expressly agrees otherwise in writing, information and materials provided to End Lawsuit Abuse may be treated as nonconfidential and nonproprietary.

If you wish to request confidential treatment, you may prominently state “CONFIDENTIALITY REQUESTED” in the subject line of your email and clearly identify the information for which confidentiality is requested.

A request for confidentiality does not itself create a confidentiality obligation. End Lawsuit Abuse is bound by a confidentiality restriction only if End Lawsuit Abuse expressly agrees to that restriction in writing.

Unless a written agreement expressly provides otherwise, an agreement to protect a submitter’s identity does not prevent End Lawsuit Abuse from investigating, verifying, analyzing, or using the substance of the information provided. End Lawsuit Abuse may, when appropriate, share the substance of information with attorneys, investigators, researchers, journalists, nonprofit organizations, businesses, governmental authorities, or other persons without identifying a confidential source.

A confidentiality commitment does not restrict End Lawsuit Abuse’s use of facts, documents, or information independently obtained from public records, court filings, other sources, or End Lawsuit Abuse’s own investigation.

End Lawsuit Abuse may consult attorneys and other professional advisers concerning any Submission, including confidential material, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Even when End Lawsuit Abuse agrees to protect a submitter’s identity, End Lawsuit Abuse cannot guarantee that the submitter’s identity will remain unknown. Identity may become apparent from the underlying facts, independent investigation, actions of third parties, or legal process.

End Lawsuit Abuse may disclose information, including a submitter’s identity, when required by applicable law, subpoena, court order, compulsory legal process, or other legally binding requirement, notwithstanding a confidentiality request or agreement to the extent permitted by law.

D. License and Use of Submissions

By providing a Submission, and to the extent you possess the necessary rights, you grant End Lawsuit Abuse a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to receive, retain, review, reproduce, copy, excerpt, summarize, analyze, research, verify, authenticate, adapt, incorporate, display, publish, distribute, and otherwise use the Submission in connection with End Lawsuit Abuse’s nonprofit mission, including its research, reports, presentations, website content, educational materials, documentary projects, and media communications.

This license does not itself establish that End Lawsuit Abuse has the legal right to publicly use material in a particular manner when the submitter did not possess the rights necessary to authorize that use. End Lawsuit Abuse may independently evaluate applicable copyright, privacy, confidentiality, evidentiary, or other legal considerations.

To the extent End Lawsuit Abuse has already relied upon or incorporated submitted material into research, publications, documentaries, educational materials, or other work, the foregoing license is irrevocable, subject to applicable law and any express written agreement between End Lawsuit Abuse and the submitter.

End Lawsuit Abuse is not required to pay compensation, royalties, licensing fees, finder’s fees, or other remuneration for a Submission unless End Lawsuit Abuse expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

E. Investigation, Corroboration, and Use

End Lawsuit Abuse may independently investigate or seek corroboration of information contained in a Submission before relying upon or publishing it.

End Lawsuit Abuse may compare or combine a Submission with other submissions, public records, court filings, third-party information, interviews, and independently obtained information to identify patterns, conduct research, investigate issues, or develop educational content.

End Lawsuit Abuse may authenticate or verify documents, photographs, recordings, communications, and other materials with third parties, including persons or organizations identified in the Submission.

End Lawsuit Abuse may contact a person or organization that is the subject of an allegation for information, verification, corroboration, comment, or response. End Lawsuit Abuse is not obligated to provide advance notice of publication or a right to respond. If End Lawsuit Abuse has expressly agreed in writing to protect a source’s identity, End Lawsuit Abuse will consider that commitment in determining how it conducts its investigation.

End Lawsuit Abuse may accept and consider anonymous information. Anonymous or unverified information is not presumed accurate merely because End Lawsuit Abuse receives it.

End Lawsuit Abuse retains sole editorial discretion concerning whether and how information derived from a Submission is used, including whether to quote, excerpt, summarize, redact, anonymize, contextualize, combine, update, correct, supplement, publish, or remove information.

Unless End Lawsuit Abuse expressly agrees otherwise in writing, a submitter has no right to review, approve, edit, control, or prevent End Lawsuit Abuse’s research, reporting, website content, documentaries, presentations, educational materials, media communications, or other resulting work.

F. Sharing and Referrals

When End Lawsuit Abuse considers it appropriate and lawful, it may share or discuss information derived from a Submission with outside attorneys, investigators, researchers, journalists, nonprofit organizations, businesses, or other organizations for purposes that may include research, verification, corroboration, identifying patterns, evaluating alleged conduct, or furthering End Lawsuit Abuse’s nonprofit mission.

End Lawsuit Abuse may also provide information to law-enforcement agencies, regulators, state attorneys general, bar authorities, or other governmental or professional bodies when End Lawsuit Abuse reasonably believes the information may concern fraud, unlawful conduct, professional misconduct, or another matter appropriately brought to their attention.

End Lawsuit Abuse may refer a Submission or submitter to an attorney, journalist, researcher, nonprofit organization, governmental agency, regulator, business, or other person or organization. End Lawsuit Abuse has no obligation to make a referral, and a referral does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee concerning the recipient.

Any disclosure or referral is subject to applicable law and any express written confidentiality commitment made by End Lawsuit Abuse.

G. Retention, Withdrawal, and Preservation

End Lawsuit Abuse may retain Submissions for as long as reasonably necessary or appropriate for research, historical records, legal compliance, preservation of evidence, defense of End Lawsuit Abuse or its directors, officers, employees, or representatives, pattern identification, investigation, or other legitimate nonprofit purposes.

A subsequent request to withdraw, delete, or return a Submission does not automatically require End Lawsuit Abuse to delete, return, recall, or stop using information or materials previously provided, particularly when End Lawsuit Abuse has already relied upon, incorporated, lawfully disclosed, or otherwise used the material. This provision is subject to applicable law and any express written agreement.

End Lawsuit Abuse may preserve information when litigation, an investigation, a subpoena, a government inquiry, or another legal proceeding is pending or reasonably anticipated.

Submitters should retain their own original documents, recordings, photographs, electronic files, and other evidence. End Lawsuit Abuse is not an evidence-storage service, records custodian, or repository and assumes no responsibility for preserving a submitter’s original evidence.

H. No Representation or Special Relationship

Providing a Submission does not make the submitter a client, represented whistleblower, employee, agent, partner, joint venturer, representative, or beneficiary of End Lawsuit Abuse.

End Lawsuit Abuse does not undertake responsibility for protecting a submitter’s legal interests, confidentiality rights, employment rights, whistleblower rights, claims, defenses, privileges, deadlines, or other legal interests.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

End Lawsuit Abuse may report on, quote, summarize, reproduce portions of, or link to court filings, judicial opinions, government records, regulatory materials, public records, academic research, news reporting, and other third-party materials where permitted by law.

The Site may also link to third-party websites and services. End Lawsuit Abuse does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms.

A reference or link to a third party does not necessarily constitute End Lawsuit Abuse’s endorsement, sponsorship, approval, or affiliation.

8. No Endorsement or Affiliation

Reference to a person, law firm, company, organization, product, service, lawsuit, publication, or other third party does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement, opposition, sponsorship, affiliation, or legal conclusion by End Lawsuit Abuse.

Statements and opinions attributed to third parties are those of the identified sources. Users should independently evaluate third-party information.

9. Copyright Concerns

End Lawsuit Abuse respects intellectual-property rights.

If you believe material appearing on the Site infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice identifying the copyrighted work, the material at issue, its location on the Site, your contact information, and the basis for your claim to:

info@endlawsuitabuse.com

End Lawsuit Abuse may investigate and respond as it considers appropriate under applicable law.

This section does not represent that End Lawsuit Abuse has designated or registered a copyright agent or that any particular statutory safe harbor applies.

10. Privacy

End Lawsuit Abuse’s collection, use, retention, and disclosure of information associated with the Site and communications with End Lawsuit Abuse are described in the End Lawsuit Abuse Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Site Availability and Security

End Lawsuit Abuse may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or any portion of the Site at any time.

End Lawsuit Abuse takes reasonable measures intended to protect its systems but cannot guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses, malicious code, or other harmful components.

You are responsible for taking appropriate precautions when accessing websites or downloading materials.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR AVAILABILITY.

End Lawsuit Abuse DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, END LAWSUIT ABUSE AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SITE, SITE CONTENT, THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, END LAWSUIT ABUSE’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless End Lawsuit Abuse and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of or relating to your unlawful use of the Site, your material violation of these Terms, your Submission, or your violation of another person’s rights.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, any legal action arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

End Lawsuit Abuse may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on the Site with an updated effective date.

Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

17. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

End Lawsuit Abuse’s failure to enforce a provision does not waive its right to enforce that or any other provision later.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any express written agreement applicable to a particular Submission or activity, constitute the applicable agreement concerning use of the Site. If an express written agreement with End Lawsuit Abuse concerning confidentiality or a particular Submission conflicts with these Terms, the express written agreement will control with respect to that subject matter.
